For systems installed after September 2017, there is now the option to create parent email notifications specific to appointment types within the Scheduling Module. 


From the Scheduling Module when editing or adding a new appointment type you will now see a series of drop-down options in the appointment settings form as noted below. 



The email notifications that will populate in these dropdowns can be created and edited in SETTINGS>>CONTENT AND LETTERS. Be mindful that any email notifications that you would like to assign to an appointment type will need to be categorized as noted below within the CONTENT AND LETTERS area.
